The best kickboxing schedule is one you can actually maintain.
That sounds simple.
It isn't.
People are very good at creating workout plans for imaginary versions of themselves.
Six days a week.
No missed workouts.
Perfect nutrition.
New life starts Monday.
Then real life shows up on Wednesday.
Start With Consistency
For beginners, the first objective is establishing a repeatable routine.
A couple of consistent training days can be far more useful than going every day for two weeks and disappearing for two months.
Build the habit first.
Give Your Body Time to Adapt
Kickboxing involves movements your body may not be accustomed to.
Punching.
Kicking.
Pivoting.
Changing direction.
Repeated combinations.
Conditioning.
Recovery is part of training too.
Schedule Training Before Motivation Votes
Don't rely on asking yourself whether you “feel like” working out.
Pick training days.
Put them into your week.
When that time arrives, the decision has already been made.
This is one of the simplest ways to make consistency easier.
Adjust When Life Changes
Consistency does not mean perfection.
Vacations happen.
Work gets crazy.
Families need you.
You miss a class.
The mistake isn't missing one class.
The mistake is allowing one missed class to become permission to abandon the routine.
Return.
That's the skill.
Find a Rhythm You Can Live With
The goal isn't to survive an aggressive 30-day challenge.
It's to build something that still exists six months from now.
Start reasonably.
Train consistently.
Adjust when necessary.
Keep going.
